ADPRIMAX Education Information

All the classroom tools you need, all in one place

Study Skills for School Success 2.0

Welcome to the ADPRIMAX website, first placed on the Internet in November of 2010, is designed for new and future teachers. The parent site, just plain old ADPRIMA, has been on the Internet since 1997, and is ranked highly by the major search engines for many terms or phrases relating to education. This new site will contain many of the pages on the ADPRIMA site, plus some new material that is somewhat offbeat and strong in the opinion category. There will be information about such important areas as teacher education, lesson planning, teaching methods, learning objectives, thinking skills and classroom management.

The ADPRIMAX motto is the same as that of ADPRIMA: "Anything not understood in more than one way is not understood at all."

As the webmaster of ADPRIMA and as a one who has spent over 35 years in education, ranging from middle school teacher to high school teacher, to university director of education programs and centers, to university administrative posts such as assistant dean, acting chairperson, dean, and professor, I think I still have some value in this field. In addition, my wife who also has her doctorate and over 30 years of teaching and administration, including having National Board Certification in mathematics, and has widely published mathematics study materials is an active partner in the content of ADPRIMA and the new ADPRIMAX site.

It will take a while to get everything up and running, and I do hope you will visit both sites. If you are a new teacher, a student in a teacher preparation program, or are thinking about switching careers in the hope of becoming a teacher, this site will offer you a great deal of useful, straightforward information. And remember this, I want you to be able to share your experiences and opinions, so feel free to email me.

Please feel free to explore and, as always, your comments are most welcome.
