A Different Drummer
Dr. Bob Kizlik
August 9, 2012
Yes, I know that the expression "a different drummer" has been overused to the point of near irrelevancy, but yet, I am drawn to it because probably more than any other similar expression, it conveys a sense of both autonomy and independent thought and action.
This page will be a gateway to thoughts, ideas and musings by me and others that relate in some way to education, both in our K-12 schools and also in the ways that would-be teachers are "trained" or hopefully educated. There will also be information about schooling and teaching. I have also decided to add a section on the subject of politics and education, focusing on how political and often times religious agendas negatively impact learning. It will be a free-wheeling collection of opinion and commentary gleaned from reliable sources. It may take a few weeks to flesh out the format and content.
Please choose from the list below to get started and if you have any comments or observations, or perchance would like to add to this section of the ADPRIMAX site, please send me an email. You will find the email link at the bottom of the page.
